A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT

Welcome to the IEMA website! If you are a member, we encourage you to take a look around – review members only areas of the website, learn about upcoming events, and access important documents that support the daily operations and share those you have with other peers via this site.

To those who are not members, we strongly encourage you to learn more about our organization. We would love to have you on board as either a member, associate or sustaining member.

IEMA strives to lead the state of Iowa in emergency management through the use of collaborative best practices. IEMA serves as a collective majority voice for local emergency managers across the State of Iowa.

There are many dynamic services and opportunities that are unique to the field of emergency management nationwide and here in Iowa it is no different. As we look to the future and ways to enhance membership services, the Iowa Emergency Manager Certification (IACEM) program, and corporate outreach are ways to get involved and I believe now is the perfect time to join this association and become involved.

IEMA strives to combine collaboration and innovation to advance the field of emergency management across Iowa.

Our collective goal is focused on becoming the best emergency management association in the nation.

To our members – I say thank you!

To our soon-to-be members, I say welcome!

Dave C Wilson, President of the Iowa Emergency Management Association
