TITLE:                     ICS 400 Advanced Incident Command Course

TIME: 0800-1600 each day

LOCATION: Class will be held at Adel Public Library, 303 South 10^th St., Adel, IA 50003. Parking for the library is off of South 9^th Street, as the library fills up the block between S. 9^th and S. 10^th and its parking lot is only accessible on S. 9^th.

AUDIENCE: Public Health Administrators, Hospital Preparedness Staff, Individuals who would be in an Incident Commander Role or function in their County EOC.

PURPOSE: To Attend the ICS 400 Advanced Incident Command Course

OBJECTIVES: The participant will be able to:

• Explain how major incidents pose special management challenges.
• Describe the circumstances in which an Area Command is established.
• Describe the circumstances in which multiagency coordination systems are established.

Pre-Requisites:     In order to attend this course, students must have completed IS100,

IS 200, IS 700 ICS 300.
